The 21 black-and-white photographs document Edmund Heller's collecting in Africa. Subject matter includes vegetation, inland waters, vistas of mountain ranges, grasslands, baskets used for fishing (similar to folder #), expedition campsites, a church in session, and town street of Nairobi. Most photographs indicate location on the reverse side. For negatives, see Folder 55. Some image descriptions on reverse indicate photographs were taken during the Rainey African Expedition, 1911-1912. Locations include Nyeri, Theka Falls, Yala, Taita, Kanirando{?) bay, Kaimasi road, Nairobi, and Mazeras, Kenya.
