Together with the making of the saw-mill, very usefull in Virginia, for cutting of timber and clapbord to build withall, and its conversion to many as profitable uses.

Errors in paging: p. 26-27 and 30-31, first part, misnumbered 34-35 and 39-38.

Part 1 is a reissue of "Virgo triumphans" (the second issue, Wing W2660), with title page cancelled by a new title with conjugate introduction by Williams; leaves c3-4 are also cancelled. Part 2, "Virginia's discovery of silke-wormes, with their benefit" has separate dated title page, pagination, and register; it was also published separately as Wing W2659.

Quaritch (General catalogue, v. 5, p. 2991-2) says that John Farrer (or Ferrar) who is referred to in the preface, supplied Williams with the material for this work, and describes Ferrar's own copy of the 1st edition, with his marginalia and his drawing of a map dated 1650. No map was issued with the 1st and 2nd editions, but Ferrar's design was engraved in 1651 for the 3rd edition.
