Specimens of Ardynomys olseni collected in 1923 from the Ardyn Obo Formation, Mongolia, during the Central Asiatic Expeditions; specimens of Ardynomys occidentalis collected from McCarty's Mountain, Mont.; specimen of Ardynomys kazachstanicus, from Kazakhstan, is provisionally referred to the genus.
