"[Gilliard] spent approximately one month, from April 21 to May 25, in the region of the Schrader Mountains, an isolated range forming the height of land between the Sepik and Ramu rivers in northern New Guinea ... The first part of the time was spent in collecting in moss forest on Mt. Kominjim; the second part, in grasslands around the Aiome Patrol Post at the northern base of the mountains."
