This item consists 2 identification lists of botanical specimens collected by Beattie for the National Herbarium. The first includes identifications of specimen no. 2303-4329 collected by Beattie at unnamed localites in Oregon. Entries consist of specimen no. and scientific name. and specimen no. The second list includes specimen no. 10000-11250 collected by Beattie in Japan. Entries include specimen no., scientific name, and "Fide" which is primarily listed as Walker, but sometimes as A.S. Hitchcock, S.F. Blake, and others trained in plant taxonomy. Lists often also include information on locality. The item also contains correspondence between Beattie and E.H.
