This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 13 April to 25 September 1970. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Birds observed during day trip to Virginia Beach and a Virginia Society of Ornithology chapter meeting at Bull Run Park. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Green and brown feathers are taped to the notebook on 23 April 1970.
