Notes

This journal was kept by Killip in 1929 while collecting with A. C. Smith in Peru. Killip's first page references Smith's field book as a more complete and formal record of the trip. This field book reads more like a diary and includes daily accounts of travel through Peru, as well as some personal notes. Some references to a plant referred to as "cube" including a history of "cube" in the back of the book. Localities include but are not limited to: Lima, Huanta, Aina, Ucayali River, and Iquitos.
