This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 25 July to 15 October 1979. Notes contain daily lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Birds observed at Bay Ridge Equestrian Stables (in Centreville) on 7/29 are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. News clipping about unusually cool summer weather, dated 8/18 , is also included.
