A. bandeirana seemingly is restricted to Angola and the Lower Congo area; A. rugosa is a species of the Central and Upper Congo Basin; A. balteata appears to have a much wider range, extending from the mouth of the Gambia River to Benguela and the Middle Congo; A. iostoma is common in western Cameroon and A. hessei is known thus far only from ['Yaunde, southern Cameroons']."
