In 1849?, Longmans, Brown, Green, Longmans and Roberts took over the publication of the Cyclopaedia. They called vol. 4, pt. 1 "1847-1849" and vol. 4, pt. 2, "1849-1852," and in 1859 they reissued vols. 1-3 (with dates on title pages "1835-1836", "1836-1839" and "1839-1847" respectively).

Vol. 4, pt. 1 had a second title page for vol. 4 collectively, with publication date 1852. Vol. 5 published in 1859; other volumes do not have publications dates.
