The text of this apparently unique, heretofore unregistered imprint was probably augmented by Hincapié Meléndez (1689-1772) himself. He practiced medicine in which he held a licentiate and was also an apothecary as well as a printer and a poet.

Includes on p. [2] "Diferencia entre la hypecacuana del Reyno de Guatemala, y la de Cartagena."
