Publisher varies: d. 1, stuk 9-18, d. 2, stuk 1-14, and d. 3, stuk 1-3, were published by De erven van F. Houttuyn; d. 3, stuk 4-5 were published by J. van der Burgh en zoon.

Deel 2 (Planten) was also issued separately in 1774-1783 as: Handleiding tot de plant-en kruidkunde.
