Abstract

We report the first records of Aedes fumidus and Ae. amesii from India based on collectionsmade in mangrove forests of Bhitarkanika in Orissa, Sunderbans, in West Bengal, and Andaman and NicobarIslands. Collection details include date, location, material examined, larval habitat, and associated species.
