Abstract

Anopheles culicifacies was successfully colonized twice in wire cages measuring 60cm on each side. One of the colonies was successfully selected for mating in smaller wire cages measuring 30 cm on each side. Experiments indicate adaptation to the laboratory involved changes in mating behavior of both sexes.
