Experiments showed that consolidation of larvae remaining in rearing trays after the 2nd harvest of pupae was feasible and beneficial in mass rearing Anopheles albimanus Wiedemann. Consolidation after the 1st harvest is not recommended, because the size of the resulting pupae and the production from survivors in rearing trays are reduced.
