Abstract

Genetic studies suggest that the mutant phenotype "short palpi" (st) is determined by a single autosomal recessive gene. The gene is fully penetrant and its expressivity is constant. The St locus is linked with the diamond palpi locus at a distance of 38.55 + 0.73 crossover units.
