Abstract

ABSTRACT. Aedes wainwrighti Baisas is designated as a synonym of Aedes meronephada (Dyar and Shannon). A list of characters which separates adults of the subgenus Stegomyia Theobald from the other subgenera of Aedes Meigen is given.
