Abstract

Aedes (Stegomyia) hoogstraali Knight and Rozeboom and Ae. (Stg.) impatibilis (Walker) are 2 distinct species. Characters for separating impatibilis from hoogstraali are given. Male terminalia, female, female terminalia and pupa of impatibilis and female terminalia of hoogstraali are described and illustrated. The range of Ae. impatibilis is extended to include the Philippines.
