Abstract

Sixteen new species ofPseudopodaJäger, 2000 (Sparassidae, Heteropodinae) are described. Among them, eight species were collected from China:P.chayuensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.conaensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.medogensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.nyingchiensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.shacunensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.shuoZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂♀),P.yuanjiangensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♀) andP.zixiensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂); seven from Myanmar:P.colubrinaZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂♀),P.daxingZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.gexiaoZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂),P.putaoensisZhao & Li,sp. n. (♂),P.subbirmanicaZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂♀),P.titanZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂♀),P.xiaZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂); and one from Thailand:P.maeklongensisZhao & Li,sp. n.(♂). A distribution map of the new species is also provided.
