Abstract

We describe two new Neotropical species ofNeurateliaRondani from the high Central Andes of Colombia,N.altoandinasp. nov.andN.colombianasp. nov.The holotype ofEudicranaelegansLane actually is a species ofNeurateliaand a new combination is proposed. Our examination of the holotype ofNeurateliasapaiciLane from southeastern Brazil shows this species to be a synonym ofN.elegans(Lane), which is formally proposed here.Neurateliasapaiciis redescribed. The position of these three species within the genus is discussed. A key for the Neotropical species ofNeurateliais provided.
