Abstract

The genusPromalactisMeyrick, 1908 is recorded for the first time from Laos in mainland Southeast Asia and four new species are described:P. crassasp. nov.,P. retusasp. nov.,P. senispinasp. nov., andP. uniclavatasp. nov.Additionally, seven species are newly reported from the country:P. albisquamaKim & Park,P. apicisetiferaDu & Wang,P. bitrigonaKim & Park,P. zolotuhiniLvovsky,P. parasuzukiellaWang,P. suzukiella(Matsumura), andP. spiraliolaKim. Distributional data and diagnoses and/or descriptions for all species in Laos are provided, along with illustrations of adults and genitalia.
