Abstract

An unusually dark typhlocybine leafhopper (Cicadellidae, Typhlocybinae, Erythroneurini) from Guizhou Province, China, is described as a new genus and species, Shibingagen. nov., and S. nigrasp. nov. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of the new species are provided.
