Abstract

Two new species of the genus Metapocyrtus Heller, 1912, subgenus Orthocyrtus Heller, 1912 are described and illustrated from southern Mindanao, Philippines: M. (O.) melibengoysp. nov. and M. (O.) flomloksp. nov. Another two species were transferred from the subgenus Artapocyrtus Heller, 1912 to Orthocyrtus, namely, M. (O.) willietorresi Cabras & Medina, 2018 and M. (O.) villalobosaePatano et al., 2021. Ecological notes are provided.
