Abstract

Here we provide a Code-compliant description of Ostrea oleomargarita Oliver, Salvi, and Al-Kandari, sp. nov as reported in Salvi et al. (2022) and complemented with the ZooBank registration numbers of the publication and of the new species name. <br> Results of phylogenetic, species delimitation, and morphological analyses on which the systematic assessment of this new species is based can be found in Salvi et al. (2022).
