Abstract

Five new Lagynochthonius species of the pseudoscorpion family Chthoniidae are described, based on morphological characters: Lagynochthonius duosp. nov., Lagynochthonius gibbussp. nov., Lagynochthonius hepingensissp. nov., Lagynochthonius houisp. nov., and Lagynochthonius sanhuaensissp. nov. All specimens were collected from epigean habitats in southern China.
