Abstract

The genusLamellitettigodesGünther, 1939 from Southeast Asia is reviewed. The genus currently includes seven species and is transferred to Tetriginae Rambur, 1838. Two new species are described:Lamellitettigodes novaeguineaesp. nov.from New Guinea andLamellitettigodes karwinkelisp. nov.from Yunnan, People’s Republic of China.Lamellitettigodes palawanicusGünther, 1939stat. nov.is no longer regarded as a subspecies ofL. contractus, but a separate species. Two species are transferred fromEuparatettixHancock, 1904 toLamellitettigodes:Lamellitettigodes sagittatus(Bolívar, 1887)comb. nov.andLamellitettigodes cultratus(Bolívar, 1898)comb. nov.One species is transferred fromTetrixLatreille, 1802 toLamellitettigodes-Lamellitettigodes signatus(Bolívar, 1887)comb. nov.Xistra tricristata sumatranaBolívar, 1898syn. nov.,Xistra tricristataBolívar, 1898syn. nov., andProbolotettix corticolusBlackith & Blackith, 1987syn. nov.are synonymized withLamellitettigodes contractus(Bolívar, 1887).Probolotettix kevaniBlackith & Blackith, 1987syn. nov.is synonymized withEuparatettix personatus(Bolívar, 1887). Additionally, in the genusLamellitettixHancock, 1904,Lamellitettix acutusHancock, 1904stat. rev.is retransferred from a subspecies ofLamellitettix gallinaceus(Stål, 1877) to a separate species status.
