Abstract

We propose the genusFlospesgen. nov.for two new species,Flospes guangxiensissp. nov.andFlospes viridipennissp. nov., obtained from Guangxi and Hainan provinces, China, respectively, based on male genitalia traits. Three other species with similar genitalia are placed in the new genus:Flospes fujianensis(Wang et al., 1999),comb. nov.,Flospes hainanensis(He et al., 2010),comb. nov., andFlospes denticulatus(Liu & Shi, 2011),comb. nov.The new species are described, illustrated, and their ranges are given.
