Abstract

Six new species of the genus Sudesna are described from South China: S. cangshansp. nov. (♀, Yunnan), S. dalisp. nov. (♂♀, Yunnan), S. haiboisp. nov. (♂♀, Yunnan), S. hainansp. nov. (♂♀, Hainan), S. shangrilasp. nov. (♂♀, Yunnan) and S. yangisp. nov. (♂♀, Yunnan). Dictyna yongshun Yin, Bao & Kim, 2001 is proposed here as a junior synonym of S. hedini (Schenkel, 1936). Detailed descriptions, photographs, along with illustrations of genital organs, somatic features, and a distribution map of Sudesna species in China are provided.
