Abstract

Ellingsenius renaesp. nov., encountered in Guizhou, southern China and the eighth species of the genus, is described and illustrated. An analysis of the COI mitochondrial gene (LCO1490/HC02198) confirms the identity of the new species. An identification key to all Ellingsenius species is provided, and comments on the pseudoscorpion-bee relationships are included.
