Abstract

<br> In this study, 15 centipede species of the genus<br> Strigamia<br> Gray, 1843 were recorded from the East Asian mainland, including 7 newly discovered species:<br> S. asiatica<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> ,<br> S. dianguiensis<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> ,<br> S. laterisetosa<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> ,<br> S. longiglanda<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> ,<br> S. obliquidentata<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> ,<br> S. xizangensis<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> and<br> S. ziyunensis<br> Jiang &amp; Yu,<br> sp. nov.<br> Strigamia monoporus<br> (Takakuwa, 1938) was proposed as a<br> nomen dubium<br> because it was likely derived from immature specimens and lacked sufficient diagnostic information. A key to<br> Strigamia<br> species from the East Asian mainland is provided.<br>
