Abstract

<br> Based on examination of type specimens and original literature, it has been determined that<br> Mussaenda recurvata<br> Naiki, Tagane &amp; Yahara and<br> Mussaenda reflexisepala<br> Tao Chen &amp; Duy are conspecific. Therefore,<br> M. reflexisepala<br> is hereby treated as a synonym of<br> M. recurvata<br> . A new Chinese name is proposed for<br> M. recurvata<br> : Juǎn è Yù yè Jīn huā.<br>
