Abstract

<br> A new species of the Burmese amber genus<br> Pseudopanorpidium<br> Schall, Willmott, Kotthoff &amp; Husemann, 2025 is described as<br> P. inversa<br> sp. nov.<br> Its name is derived from the inverse color scheme of the wings: the dark wing spots and wing margin usually found on the forewings of elcanids are located on the hindwings in the new species. Additionally, a new member of the Archelcaninae Gorochov, Jarzembowski &amp; Coram, 2006 is described from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber.<br> Thagyaminana atawedeia<br> gen. et sp. nov.<br> is the third member of the subfamily to be reported from this origin and the first among them to show three branches of M between CuA + CuPaα and the stem of RP.<br>
